Yes they are, their music is sooooo much better then fall out boy. Dookie is one of the best albums ever, I can't say that about any fall out boy albums

Uhh, yes, of course. Green Day has been around longer and is still around and has had long-lasting popularity for at least 16 years. Fall Out Boy has come and gone, and has really not made a big influence on any other bands, while Green Day has not only influenced Fall Out Boy, but mostly every pop punk band that came after them. Green Day aren't afraid to experiment with their music, every record is different, every record has its own meaning. They made Dookie, which changed the 90's punk scene forever; they made American Idiot which woke a kid up from a coma; not to mention 6 other great albums; their song Good Riddance was and is still widely used in graduations, funerals, proms, etc. Does Fall Out Boy even come close to their legacy? Fall Out Boy has fall outs, Green Day has had the same members for 18 years. What do you think?
